Pyramid ERP gives you the power to record all stock movements within a factory. You can easily define production processes to mimic the real factory processes, as well as monitor, manage and control production costs, waste and quality.

Mass Production and Discrete Batches

The all encompassing approach to the way you work provides one system for all production units. From mass produced processing plants to one off, made to order, discrete batches – or even a mixture of the two. Pyramid ERP gives you the power.

You can define the flow of materials, the processes and the stores throughout an entire plant. Integrated with the other modules, the production system uses common data for all other areas, including Sales, Purchasing and Finance.

·          Record all Work In Progress stock movements. Provides yield and waste information. Plant efficiencies are able to be calculated. Target ‘bottle necks’ in the production process. Create as many variables as required to monitor against each process.

·          Produce instructions sheets on how a factory or plant should be set-up for a particular product.

·          Generate product costs from bill of materials. Use materials as a process takes place or ‘back-flush’ components at a later stage in the production process.

·          Record meter readings of any type including gas, electricity, water or flow meters.

·          Track items through a Plant giving Sales and Managers full traceability and a clear location of items for a particular order, thus ensuring customer enquiries are dealt with efficiently.

·          Production runs (Works orders) can be created from one or more Sales Orders or simply generated for stock. This gives you the ability to combine orders into one production run in order to reduce machine set-up time.

·          Pyramid ERP's Production System has been developed with production managers in an environment of mass production, discrete batches and specialist production runs, with customer defined specifications. The valuable experience gained in these environments has helped produce a resilient, yet flexible system that can suit the needs of even the most demanding production environments.

·          A product may consist of many sub assemblies and components. All are held as products in the system. This has the advantage of being able to sell a sub-assembly to customers as well as being able to use it in the manufacture process for the finished article.
