Plant Maintenance
The Plant Maintenance Module aids running preventative maintenance schedules, minimising downtime and recording task steps for less experienced engineers or contractors, viewing jobs for the first time to follow.
Proactive Preventative Maintenance
Record all tasks performed on an asset or plant item. A task may be a scheduled job or an unplanned fix or breakdown. Tasks can be broken down into a number of steps, providing an instruction set or a check list for engineers. This is particularly useful where Contactors or less experienced maintenance staff are assigned tasks.
Set-up a task to occur over defined periods of time. If the task is to replace wear parts, set the task to occur after a quantity of a product has passed through the equipment from data in the production module. This is particularly useful where production flows vary for a piece of equipment.
· A task can hold drawings, photos and Health & Safety information which can be printed or recalled by maintenance staff.
· Record different task types for different groups of personnel. For example, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Contractors.
· Add pre and post task notes or engineer’s reports.
· An estimate of time taken to complete a task is held. This can be used to generate an estimate number of workforce hours required to aid staffing level decisions.
· Provide Production Managers warning in plenty of time when equipment is needed for routine maintenance.
· Each task step can be assigned components required to carry out the task. Store Personnel or Buyer can have advanced warning which parts are required, components can be checked to ensure they are available or ordered from a Supplier.
Instant views of incomplete Tasks and a full history of work carried out on each plant item is maintained.
