Standard Reports
A number of standard reports have been developed to give you access to the data held in the system and turn it into information you require.
Reports can be in the form of a hard copy, viewed on screen or saved as a file and emailed.
A number of wizard based reports have been generated. These guide a user through a series of questions and options. This helps users who do not use the system everyday to quickly generate a report pack of a quality that is presentable to your customers without the need to tie up any central resource.
Active reviews of the data have been created. These monitor the data as changes happen. As an order is entered the view is updated this can be in a graphical form or report based.
Ad-Hoc Reporting
The Pyramid Reporting tool allows users to easily produce standard and customised reports. The Reporting Tool Software can also be used as a stand alone package.
Extracting data for reporting can easily be achieved using the SQL builder. The output can then be represented as standard report, drill-down table or graphical form. The data then can be exported seamlessly to Microsoft Word or Excel.
An advantage of using SQL server is there are a large number of standard reporting tools on the market. Report tools such as Business Objects or Cognos can be integrated if they are already in use in your environment. Therefore, you maintain that skill base.
For the more technical staff Microsoft's TSQL queries can be used directly on the database. Full table structures and data map diagrams can be provided if required.
